Sanwa-America is the Authorized Distributor for Sanwa Electric Instrument products in the USA. We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sper Scientific Instruments, LLC, a leading US-based supplier of handheld environmental testing instruments for over 40 years.

Yes! We stock the most popular Sanwa meters right here in our Scottsdale, Arizona warehouse. Other Sanwa products labelled as Direct Ship products will be shipped to you directly from the Sanwa factory in Japan, and require an extra 2-4 days lead time for delivery. All of our products normally ship within 2 business days.

Items on our site marked as Direct Ship will be shipped to you directly from the Sanwa factory. These items normally ship within 2 business days, and should arrive within approxiamtely 7-10 days.

We primarily ship via USPS and UPS. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method/service level during checkout.

In Stock orders normally ship by the next business day, and usually take approximately 5-7 business days to arrive via ground shipment.

Direct Ship orders normally ship within 2 business days, and can take from 7-10 days to arrive.

Actual delivery details and dates will be emailed to you when you place your order, and tracking numbers will be provided when your item(s) ship.

We are confident that you will love your new Sanwa meter, but if you do need to return or exchange an item, please follow these guidelines:

To return or exchange an item, please contact our customer support team first at 480.948.4448, or email orders@sanwa-america.com to be issued an RGA# (Return Goods Authorization). Items returned without an RGA# will not be processed and will be returned to the originating address.

Claims for items that were received damaged or defective must be made within 14 days of the invoice date. If you are not satisfied with a product, you may return it within 30 days of the invoice date for replacement or a refund (please note that shipping costs are not refundable).

To avoid a restocking fee, returned items must be in new condition, and include all original packaging, instructions, and accessories. When we replace an item, we also cover the cost of shipping the replacement to you.

Sanwa-America is the US authorized service depot for Sanwa Meters. Please contact us here if you need repair, calibration or other assistance with your Genuine Sanwa meter, and we'll be happy to help. Please note that any approved warranty services/repairs will be forwarded to the Sanwa factory in Japan for processing.

All Sanwa products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship or materials under normal use for the period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Warranty service can be obtained by contacting us here. Please include your name and contact information, and as much detail as possible about the problem(s) you are experiencing with your product.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND Y0UR METER TO US UNTIL YOU HAVE FIRST OBTAINED A RETURN MATERIALS AUTHORIZATION (RMA #) FROM SANWA-AMERICA.

Prior to requesting warranty service, please check the following:
1) Condition/charge of the battery.

2) Polarity of the installation.

3) Condition of test leads/clips.
